Hiring doesn't have to feel like this →

Every resume reads the same now.

Every one is polished and full of the same buzzwords. Resumes are now built to match keywords, which games an ATS and wears out a recruiter reading the pile by hand. Either way, it’s hard to see the person underneath.

Three different roles. Nearly the same words.

"The process now feels less like evaluation and more like detective work."

    - In-house recruiter, 8 years experience

What sets candidates apart is rarely on the resume.

“Results-driven self-starter” tells you nothing. “Stayed late without being asked, and made everyone around them better” tells you everything.

That’s what a reference says, and Logbook shows it next to the resume, wherever you open it.

    • Not a replacement for your ATS
    • Not another tab to keep open

    Pricing

    Free for 30 days.

Then $49.99 per seat / month.

No credit card required. When the trial ends, forward it to your manager and they can upgrade your seat.

    Questions recruiters ask

Do I need to replace or switch my ATS?

No. Logbook is an overlay: a Chrome extension that sits on top of the pages you already use, like Gmail, LinkedIn, and your ATS. It doesn't connect to your ATS, so there's nothing to migrate and nothing new to learn.

    So what is it, exactly?

When you open a candidate in Gmail, LinkedIn, or your ATS, Logbook shows their references right there, next to the resume. You never leave your tab.

I'm not the one who picks our tools - can I still use this?

Yes. You install it yourself from the Chrome Web Store and try it on your own for 30 days. Some companies manage which extensions are allowed. If yours does, ask your IT team to allow Logbook.

Will it work in my ATS?

Yes. Logbook works in any ATS that shows the candidate's email on the page.

    What data does it use?

Logbook runs on the page you're viewing, but it only reads the candidate's email address, which it uses to find their references. Nothing else is read or sent, and nothing is written to your systems.

How do I know the references are real, and not the candidate's friends?

Each reference is confirmed by the person it names. We check that their email domain matches the company they list, and their LinkedIn too if they add one. Once confirmed, a reference can't be edited. And you can contact any reference directly to check for yourself.

Isn't this just LinkedIn recommendations with extra steps?

A Logbook reference names a real colleague, their relationship to the candidate, and the specific line on the resume they're confirming. You can contact them directly to ask more.

Isn't this just another AI screening tool?

No. Logbook isn't scoring or filtering anyone with AI - it's confirmation from real people who worked with the candidate. Your judgment still makes the call. Logbook just gives it something real to work with.

What happens when my trial ends?

The extension counts down and reminds you in the week before it ends. When it does, you can forward a note to your manager to upgrade your seat. Seats are $49.99 a month, with no contract.

The best hire is buried in buzzwords.Logbook helps you find them.

Install Logbook, open your next candidate, and see the people behind the resume. Everything else stays the same.

No card. No team plan. Nothing to set up.
